Stayaway keyboard shortcuts

Press Alt+X to stop everything at once. Alt+A starts and stops a run, and Alt+H shows or hides the window. The shortcuts work from any app, even with the Stayaway window closed, and you can change each one in Settings under Shortcuts.

Emergency Stop and Stop are different

Start or stop (Alt+A) toggles an ordinary run. Emergency Stop (Alt+X) always stops everything immediately, whatever state the app is in, and is the one to reach for if the pointer is ever not doing what you expect.

Change a shortcut

Open Settings and find Shortcuts. If another app already uses a combination, Stayaway says which shortcut could not be registered instead of failing quietly, and you can pick another.
