Refunds
30 days. If Stayaway is not what you wanted, say so and we refund it.
Last updated 24 September 2026.
The window
You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of a purchase — monthly, yearly or lifetime. You do not need to explain why, and we will not make you sit through a retention offer to get it.
Refunds are issued to the payment method you used. Lemon Squeezy LLC is our merchant of record, so the credit appears from them, and how long it takes to land depends on your bank — usually a few working days.
After the window
Past 30 days we do not refund as a matter of course. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account page — cancelling stops the next charge and leaves your Pro features running until the period you already paid for ends.
If something went genuinely wrong — you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or the app never worked on your computer and we could not fix it — write to us anyway. Those are our problem to sort out, not yours to absorb, and the 30 days are not the point in those cases.
Try it before you pay
Signing in starts a 7-day trial of every Pro feature with no card, and the Free tier has no time limit at all. We would much rather you found out Stayaway suits you before money changes hands than have you rely on this page.
Worth knowing before you buy: Stayaway is not signed with a code-signing certificate yet, so Windows shows a SmartScreen warning on install, and some antivirus software flags it. The FAQ explains why. We would rather you read that now than ask for a refund over it later.
How to ask
Email hello@stayaway.app from the address you bought with, or reply to your receipt. Tell us it is a refund request — that is the whole process. Your licence stops working once the refund goes through, and the app drops back to Free rather than shutting down.
The rest of the fine print is in the terms.
