Pricing questions
Do I need a card for the trial?
- No. You get 30 days of every Pro feature without entering a card. The trial starts the first time you sign in on the desktop app, and nothing is charged unless you pick a plan.
What happens when the trial ends?
- Stayaway moves to the free plan and keeps working, with Mouse Activity, Emergency Stop, Timed runs, Keep awake and "Is it working?". You can still change every setting. Your Pro settings are saved, so if you upgrade later they come back as you left them.
Monthly, yearly or lifetime: which should I pick?
- Lifetime costs about the same as 18 months of monthly, or 1.8 years of yearly. If you think you'll use Stayaway for longer than that, lifetime is cheaper. If you're not sure yet, start monthly and cancel whenever you like.
Does lifetime include future updates?
- Yes. A lifetime licence covers every future version of Stayaway Pro. There's nothing to renew, and no fee for a major upgrade.
Can I get a refund?
- Yes, in full, within 30 days of buying, on any plan. Email us from the address you bought with. The refund policy page has the details.
How many computers does Pro cover?
- Up to 3 at the same time, on every Pro plan. Moving to a new computer? Deactivate an old one from your account page, then sign in on the new one.
Who handles payment and tax?
- Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. It runs checkout and subscriptions, and adds VAT or sales tax where your country charges it. The prices on this page are in US dollars, before tax.
Can I cancel a subscription?
- Yes, whenever you like, from the billing link on your account page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then the app moves to the free plan.
If it doesn't work for you, you don't pay
Try every Pro feature free for 30 days, no card. If you buy and Stayaway doesn't keep your PC active the way this site says, or you simply change your mind, email us within 30 days and we refund every cent, on any plan.
